Equine thyroid problems?
Ok ass bald Saga # 1083034843 So far, two shots of steroids are not Working more than one calendar month. He put out 2wks vaccines. We have seen the growth of hair now, or at least reduce the speed at which it loses. Annnnndddd UAS continues to lose at the same time rhythm. My vet refuses to thyroid test, said its rare in horses and it is not your problem. Besides which fluctuate both one minute can be hypo / hyper and almost normal. I think I threw in another veterinarian at the request of the thyroid and I do not know if there is a blood test to determine exactly what the autoimmune disease is ... but anyone have experience animals fitted with thyroid problem? I have thyroid problems and has since 1976. I have the hiccups. Then I had performed a total thyroidectomy. Every time I get my thyroid has proved to have a cow. Is low .. small cards. I can take my pill correctly for months and always will be tested by low clouds. (It is my great regret) When I was diagnosed, they did a thyroid panel. Shown low. I tested again in a month. Still low. Tried it again a week later. Yes, you guessed it. Low. I sent for a scan with iodine uptake. This was in 1976. I Hashimotis (goiter). You can not fluctuate in a hiccup Hyper stroke. If you hypo ... your thyroid does not produce enough hormones .. or not at all. Work hard to try and simply can not. If you work too much thyroid becomes inflamed and it is considered Hashimotis. If you are super .. your thyroid is crazy and too much. More your body can use. You never proves too low in HYPER. You NEVER too high when the measurement is HYPO. At least since 1976 and I never no mother or brothers and sisters never tested the opposite of what they are. And none of the hundreds of patients I treated in the hospital of the thyroid is positive. What I'm saying is ... I can walk in any doctor's office, do a test now and you'll see that I have a thyroid problem. My mother was the first time too. ..
