Most young men of my generation grew up with the same toys each other. There was the obligatory man doll (action figure I say of course), merchandise Transformer and Star Wars figurines. There was, however, a toy that has inspired almost fanatical devotion to the love of only the opposite sex for Barbie. The toy in question was of course Action Man

Some of my peers enjoyed the wealth of weapons Action Man, some were surprised by its gadgets and gizmos. A bit 'strange boy was also fascinated by the feel of his short afro-like hair. For me, the attraction was the vehicle that drove Action Man, a huge SUV.

It was not an ordinary Jeep either. It had huge rubber wheels, a kind roll-cage structure and was adorned with projectile launchers and other weapons. To my great disappointment, as I grew I realized it was only vehicles of this type of stuff fantasy. However, the persistent image of the Jeep has remained with me since childhood.

The Jeep Patriot is the model in question today and it is very away the image I had of this vehicle as a child. Gone is the roll bar and vehicle windows of my youth (there are no weapons to be seen). What is Clearly it is a disturbing amount of ... well ... class. These days the Jeep appears to fit more with the middle class lifestyle rather than the maximum suction and ready to conquer all-terrain vehicles that these giants were initially designed for.

The phenomenon of the 4x4 school run bothered most people, simply because the whole exercise seems incredibly expensive. Imagine the scene, an MPV huge gas-guzzling with only a mother and a baby, coughing out CO2 all over the place. Now multiply this effect 500, slam down in a traffic jam and you have the school to try on one of the thousands of schools in this country. It is not wonder people get annoyed. But do not get bogged down in semantics, we must judge them on their merits 4X4.

As I mentioned earlier, Jeep Patriot is a bargain much classier suggests that the name Jeep. Seems to have all those rounded edges to make it more palatable for modern tastes, but has lost none of vim and vigor associated with the brand Jeep. In fact, I was not expecting such a lively race by a vehicle of absolute magnitude of the Jeep.

Among the arsenal of gadgets Jeep Patriot is ABS, Electronic Roll Mitigation, Panic Brake Assist, side curtain airbags, alloy wheels, halogen headlights and air conditioning. This seems to indicate that this Jeep will be a particularly convenient and safe vehicle to drive. The treatment is precise and feels light for the size of the Patriot. Combine this with the engine impatient, which handles virtually all the tasks off-road can throw at you with grace much more than many of its direct competitors.

In summary, the Jeep deserves to be used off-road as this is what is primarily designed for. The tragedy is that spend most of his life is Sat jams cars waiting to leave the children, or parked in a supermarket parking lot waiting to be filled with foie gras pate and exotic coffees. Justice can be served only if you cut through a farmer's fence and the Patriot razz around like a maniac. Then (and only then) will testify that this machine is really capable of.

Lose a few pounds is not easy but most people fail before even starting. What happens is, go on a diet, lose some 'weight, quit the diet, gain weight, get depressed and have to start all over again.

1. Dieters look for shortcuts and quick fixes.

The multi-billion dollar weight loss industry preys on the desperation. They give us exactly what we seek in the form of "fat blasting" pills and potions, gadgets exercise secret and miracle diets.

Let groped, but not be fooled. Although the diet plan some guru could achieve super-fast, how long it will able to eat that? Have you considered what happens when the end, you go off the diet? You can pop those pills forever? What is your Plan B?

Total confidence in the "diet" is a misleading approach fails to recognize as a major problem. Overweight is not the fundamental problem. It 's just a symptom of an underlying condition of habits, behaviors and attitudes toward life of poverty that contribute to a wide range of health problems.

You can get help in designing a nutritional plan that allows reasonable flexibility and fun to eat. But, successfully adopting a new lifestyle for the long haul means you must face all that "stuff" in life that makes it so hard to stay focused and motivated.

This does not necessarily mean that to "fix" all your problems today. Recognising your situation and make improvements is committing an act authorizing, and is the first step towards the long-term success.

3. BEGIN dieters without a clear action plan.

We often more time planning our holidays of us our lives. So, to simply go on a diet is "a common plan of attack." We do this with no written goals, no means of assessing progress, no support and no advance strategies to address obstacles and setbacks.

The determination is a good start, but quickly disintegrates without the structure of a solid plan. Change a life is a serious issue and requires a focused effort. You're not only going to survive "the fly", making dietary rules as you go forward.

Give this task at the same time and planning that would have an important project at work. Begin by creating a newspaper and put all your plans in writing and record your progress on a daily basis.

Sept. specific goals and write. Create a plan and timetable and put it in writing.
Identify your strengths and weaknesses. Identify stressors. Make plans to deal with them. Recruit allies, as a support system. Simplify your life, manage and plan your time. Set a system to measure results. Plan to reward your success. Know how to tackle this difficult "diet post" period.

Knowledge and planning is power. Now that you are aware of what you have to do is take it slowly. Make a plan. Get support. Exercise patience and persistence. Over time it will be a the few who made it!
