I have a question about Neon Genesis Evangelion?
Could someone explain exactly and in great detail what the hell Dummy Plug is it is so important to Gendo Ikari, and what is the link between taking the doll and Eva-01, Thanks.
The Plug Dummy Dummy Plugs are drivers artificial (A pilot to imitate the thought processes and send signals to Eva). All regular units may be installed Eve so it can run on either the pilot or the dummy plug. There are two known types of Dummy Plugs, which are loaded with personal data of Rei Ayanami and those of personal data Kaworu Nagisa (Evangelion latter is used for mass production). Among the original Eves, Unit 01 is the only system compatible Dummy Plug, which is methodically rejected each attempt after the first activation. Its main engine is stored behind the pilot's seat, marked by a large "DRIVE: A Plate." Basically Dummy Plugs were created to "fool" the EVA to think there is a real pilot. This is why the caps should be filled with personal data of the driver. Unit 01 Shinji only accept as a pilot. I thiking this is due to the unit 01 is supposed to contain the (Shinji's mother Yui) the soul. ^ _ ^
